Email Setup Instructions for Windows Live Mail on Windows 7
Step 1:
- If your version of Windows 7 doesn't include Windows Live Mail, you can download it from Microsoft for free at http://download.live.com/
- Open/Start the Windows Live Mail Program.
- Click "Add e-mail account" in the left menu.
Step 2:
- Enter your full email address
- Enter your password password
- Enter your display name
- Check "mannually configure server settings for e-mail account"
- Click Next
- My incoming mail server is a POP3 Server.
- Incoming server:
- @oplink.net email accounts and non-cpanel web hosting customers use: mail.oplink.net
- cpanel web hosting customers use: cpanel1.oplink.net
- Check "This server requires a secure connection (SSL)"
- Login ID: is your full email address
- Outoing server:
- @oplink.net email accounts and non-cpanel web hosting customers use: mail.oplink.net
- cpanel web hosting customers use: cpanel1.oplink.net
- Check "This server requires a secure connection (SSL)"
- Check "My outgoing server requires authentication"
- Click Next
Step 4:
- Click Finish
