
Windows XP Dialup Setup
Step1:
Click Start and open your Control Panel. Click Network and Internet
Connections.

Step2:
Click Network Connections.
Step3:
Click Create a new connection.
Step 4:
The Network Connection Wizard will guide you through the process of creating
a connection. Click Next > to start the configuration.
Step 5:
Next, select bubble 1, Connect to the Internet. Click Next >.
Step 6:
Next, select bubble 2, Set up my Internet connection manually. Click
Next >.
Step 7:
Next, select bubble 1, Connect using a dial-up modem. Click Next >.

Step 8:
Enter Oplink.net under Connection name:. Click Next to
continue.
Step 9:
Next, you will be required to enter a phone number. To find a list of phone
numbers in your area, click
here and choose a phone number that is a local call for your line. Click
Next >.
Step 9:
Your username and password must be entered exactly how they were
given to you. Uncheck Turn On Internet Connection Firewall. Once you
have completed this section, click Next.

Step 10:
Check Add a short to this connection on my desktop. Click Finish.

Step 11:
Your computer is now ready to connect to the Internet. All setting should be
configured properly by Windows XP automatically. If you would like to setup
