Windows 2000 Dynamic IP Setup

Step 1:

• Click on your Start Menu, Settings, and open the Control Panel.

 Step 2:

•  Click Network and Dial-up Connections.

Step 3:

• Right click on Local Area Connection.
• Click Properties

Step 4:

• Uncheck File and Printer Sharing. (Optional)
• Check Show Icon in notification area when connected. (Optional)
• Double click on Internet Protocol (TCP/IP).

Step 5:

• Leave this set to Obtain an IP address automatically.
• Leave this set to Obtain DNS server address automatically.
• Click OK when finished, goto Step 6.
